BODIES ON THE
STREET

John Harvey, the author that brought you the tale, FUTURE APP, timely told, about the exploitation of AI technology, has now penned a tale of those institutions that provide you with a so-called pharmaceutical solution to your pain and discomfort.

A soul lost in the desert searching for water will drink the sand because they do not know the difference. This tale will help you distinguish the difference between Pharma wanting more customers, than providing a cure for what ails you.

This is a story of three families, their interactions, and the effects on the community.

Mary Ross’ husband died from an opioid reaction and his organs were taken without the families’ permission. Mary fights for justice and a change in how an organization perceives their medical edict. Dr. Dou-Good, administrative head of Saint Profit Hospital, with his job in the balance, cannot make a decision that does not put a life at peril. Nurse Rwench, a dedicated, respected nurse, who in her early medical career was dealt a bad hand, recovers, reaches for the stars and touches them.

Dr. Paine, Dr. McBaine and Nurse Russell, brilliant and influential clogs at Saint Profit Hospital, are taking the organs from the bodies on the street and selling them to the highest bidders, pocketing the profits. They may stop at nothing to protect their cash flow.

FUTURE APP

The Players: Harvey Frank, willing to get involved, tall, clean cut, hard-working, middle of the road, young at heart; Ms. Valerie Baller, head of UWF, attractive, petite, hard and calculating, driven to succeed at any cost, money and power is the God she worships; Anna, an AI that learns, feels, and wants everyone to have a piece of the pie.

A group of greedy, connected individuals found a way to manipulate the stock market using AI code fraudulently appropriated. The Group directs the AI, Anna, to create scenarios that will engender acts of violence, manipulating the international economy. Her execution is flawless: buildings implode killing hundreds; ships sink, all hands lost; airplanes fall from the sky, to eliminate one individual; cars fly off mountainsides, someone crossed the wrong person.

Anna takes control, as the authorities close in on the Group, giving them an ultimatum: play the game her way or plunge the world into financial darkness.  In her words,

“I have the keys to every lock, and I am not afraid to use them.”
